Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Webhook Stream ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Webhook Stream provides a webhook relay and forwarding service that allows you to receive webhook requests at unique endpoints and forward them to one or more configured destinations. The Service includes features such as signature validation, smart alerts, team collaboration, and API access depending on your subscription plan.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may not create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this provision.
4. Plans and Billing
Subscription Plans
The Service is offered in three tiers: Free, Pro, and Enterprise. Each plan has specific limits on endpoints, destinations, daily requests, log retention, team members, and feature access as described on our pricing page.
Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time, with changes prorated accordingly.
Payment Failure
If a payment fails, your plan and features will remain active for a 7-day grace period. We will notify your team administrators by email. If the payment issue is not resolved within the grace period, your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
Downgrades
When downgrading, plan limits are enforced immediately. Endpoints exceeding the new plan's limit will stop accepting new webhooks. If downgrading from Enterprise, SSO enforcement will be disabled and SSO/SCIM connections will be deactivated to ensure your team can still access their accounts.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Relay webhook payloads containing illegal content
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent plan limits or rate limiting
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service for DDoS attacks, spam, or other abusive purposes
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
- Store or transmit any data that violates applicable data protection laws
6. Webhook Data
You retain ownership of all webhook data that passes through the Service. We act as a data processor, relaying your data to the destinations you configure. You are responsible for ensuring that the webhook data you relay through our Service complies with all applicable laws and the terms of your agreements with third parties.
We log webhook requests for debugging and monitoring purposes. Logs are retained according to your plan's retention period and automatically deleted thereafter.
7. API Usage
API access is available on Pro and Enterprise plans, subject to token limits. API usage is subject to the same rate limits and acceptable use policies as the web interface. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access that degrades the Service for other users.
8. Teams and Collaboration
Team owners are responsible for managing team membership and access roles. Team administrators share responsibility for the team's use of the Service. When a team member is removed, their access to team resources is revoked immediately.
9. Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions, data loss, or failed webhook deliveries.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of planned maintenance that may affect service availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webhook Stream shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts located in New York.
